Healthy, happy and doing just GREAT

I had my latest visit to the pediatrician today, the last one before I turn 2...and mom and I wanted to let everyone know that I am doing just great.  Dr. Marks was very impressed with my vocabulary and wasn't at all concerned with the fact that I am waking up at 5AM of late (even though Mommy and Daddy have a different view on this subject).  I have really been growing since my last visit, now measuring a full 3 feet (or 36 inches, as they say at the Doctor's office).  As you might imagine, my height continue to be off the girls' chart...Dr. Marks was very excited!  I weighed in at 28 pounds, 12 ounces, which is 90th percentile for my weight, though Dr. Marks remarked that I am quite thin for my height.  Mom was impressed with how well-behaved I was today: I didn't cry with Dr. Marks at all, allowing her to look in my mouth and ears, test my reflexes, listen to my heart and inspect my toes.  I did cry when Miss Carol, the nurse, came in with the shots...but they were over quickly and I was given an Elmo sticker on the way out since I was such a good girl.  So that's the update at almost 21 months.  Love, Charlotte
