Got milk?

Another milestone today - I had my first cup of cow's milk!  Initially I was somewhat suspicious of this foreign potable but ultimately decided that it was OK with me...and I finished the whole cup (well, really only a couple of ounces).  Little do I know that this bovine beverage ultimately leads to bidding farewell to my "ba" (bottle)...but hey, I'm a big girl now.  I can handle it!  :o)  Love, Charlotte

Finally - a pool of my very own!!!

Well, I'm happy to say that I finally have a pool of my own, which is now set up on the patio.  I was supposed to attend my friend Scarlett's birthday party yesterday but have been a bit under the weather this week and wasn't feeling quite up to it (said my mom).  So instead, we made our own fun at home, setting up an inflatable pool out on the patio.  I splished and splashed for about 30 minutes...I really enjoyed it, especially because Buck and Gryffin were roaming around outside.  Can't wait for another swim today...boy, it's hot outside! 11 Months Old

Hi Everyone,
Yesterday I turned 11 months old...my mom can't believe that my first birthday is just around the corner!  I celebrated by spending the day with my mom, going to lunch with our friends Lily and Liza and then finishing up the day in Stamford at my dad's company picnic.  I'm still trying to figure out how to walk (any minute now) but have definitely mastered crawling, climbing, cruising and walking with help (with either my pushcart or holding a grown-ups hand).  I really love swimming and have had the chance to go in a few friends' pools this summer.  I enjoying talking but still have not grasped the word "mama," though "dad" and "dog" remain favorites.  Marie and I have been having a lot of fun and will be so sad to think that she will be on her way back to Sweden in a little over 1 month; we'll miss her!
Enjoy a few recent pix!  Love Charlotte

Chandler is ONE!!

Well, I'm not sure I have this birthday thing quite figured out yet but I know there are a lot of them coming up this summer.  The first one is my good friend Chandler's - he turned one yesterday.  My mom told me that he started celebrating a few weeks ago in Tennessee (I have no idea where that is but my mom says that it involves a long car ride).  We had the good fortune of celebrating with Chandler yesterday at Bobby Q's restaurant...I tried to sing "Happy Birthday" (PS - too bad it does not include any of the words I know...like "ball" or "dog" or "hat") but I was really helpful with the eating of the cupcakes.  Not quite an expert like Chandler but I think I'm getting the hang of it...I might just need a bit more practice.  :o)  Happy Birthday to you, Chandler!  I'm glad you're my friend.

We love to Jam!

My friends and I spent another Wednesday afternoon sitting on the grass listening to music...it was so much fun.  This week we had a nice spot in the shade and even met a new friend - another Aidan! And even bigger news, our old pal Aidan Kavanaugh is now walking...I'm so impressed with him.
Enjoy my photos. Love, Charlotte

Ride 'Em Cowgirl!

Hello All,
My Nonna and Poppa got me this pink horse for Christmas...and I love it!  Up until now I've been a bit too small to ride it but I think I have it figured out now.  Now I just need some boots and a cowgirl hat (alas, my baby one is too small) and I'll be ready to ride.

Budding Fashionista

When I was in the city last week with my mom, she purchased me a pair of Joe's Jeans, which are really hip and trendy (and my mom's favorite).  Though they are still a little big, we think they will be the perfect fit for the fall.
Check me out!

Happy Fourth of July!

Hello Everyone!
Today is the 4th of July and we've been having loads of fun around here since yesterday.  Some of my friends came over last night (shout out to Mia and Chandler!) and we all stayed up way past our bed times to watch the fireworks.  Mom and Dad were very hopeful that I would sleep in this morning since I was up until almost 10PM last night...but, alas, I was up at 4:50AM and ready for my bottle.  We participated in Saugatuck Island's annual 4th of July parade and then went to a pool party.  I really enjoyed the parade but, as you can plainly see, was so exhausted from all of the festivities that I fell asleep in my wagon.  I'm exhausted... I've also had a really great week this week with a visit to the Natural History Museum and went to an outdoor music concert with my friends.
Hope you are having a nice holiday and enjoy the photos.
Love, Charlotte
PS - I am starting to walk with the assistance of a push cart...check out the video.
